Supporting and Promoting Independent Living

Welcome to Chaucer Homecare’s Website.

Chaucer Homecare was established in 1995 as a specialist provider of support to people experiencing mental ill health. We became an independent registered charity in 1997. We are a Kent Social Services Preferred Provider and also provide Floating Support through Kent County Council’s Supporting People Team. We also accept private referrals. We are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) to work with vulnerable adults.

Our services include
Community Support Services supporting vulnerable adults with both long and short term problems, some of whom may require personal care, due to illness or disability
Floating Support supporting people to maintain their tenancy
Vocational Services Structured activities developing skills, personal development, links with employers and the community

Service User Involvement
We believe that people who use our services should influence and shape decisions in the planning and delivery of all our services.
Visit our
"Get Involved" page to see how we do this.

Fundraising
Each year our services support over 300 vulnerable adults. We welcome your support in raising funds to provide equipment for our art and pottery groups, horticulture and carpentry projects, as well as books and materials for clients engaging in education and life skills training.
