Community Support Services can make a significant positive difference to people’s lives. It offers practical and emotional support enabling people to stay well and to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
Support workers are employed from all walks of life to assist with a diverse range of needs. They will work alongside you and help with things such as:

Practical tasks to assist with domestic chores, getting organised, decorating and making your home safe |

Budgeting and managing your money, paying bills and rent |

Completing forms |
|
Getting involved in the community |

Assisting with medication |

Emotional support |

Personal care needs |

Who are the services for?
|
Anyone who has a mental health problem and is supported by their local community mental health team (CMHT) can access this service. Both men and women can get support and the service can be over a short time or for a longer period, depending on your needs.

We also offer support to elderly people, people with physical, learning difficulties and alcohol and substance misuse.
