Get Involved!

We actively promote service user involvement and believe that clients’ views should influence and shape decisions in planning and delivery of services. We are committed to involving people in ways that are acceptable and convenient to them, and are able to offer a variety of opportunities for people’s voices to be heard.

Why should you get involved?

  • Improve services – you can give your expert opinion on what works and what helps to improve services.
  • Ownership – take an interest in the services you use, the way it is funded, delivered and reviewed.
  • Personal Development – pooling skills and experiences, you can build your confidence and self esteem, problem solving capacity and negotiating skills.

Some ways you can get involved:

  • Service User Meetings
  • Questionnaires
  • Suggestions Boxes
  • Service User Forum
  • Newsletter
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Involvement in group development and delivery
  • Service Reviews
