We offer a range of services and support to enable people to access integrated voluntary work in the community. Voluntary work is often an important first step for work preparation providing experience and work history for C.V.’s and demonstrating ability and willingness to potential employers.
Our Outreach Gardening Project, working in conjunction with Webb’s Garden, delivers real work (goods and services) to local community businesses and projects.
"The Sturry Road Community Garden Project in Canterbury has been delighted by the excellent quality of work carried out by Webbs Garden volunteers in our garden. It is obvious they all have a great love of gardening and are very knowledgeable as well. We are also grateful for all their help in getting the garden ready for its open day.”

We can also support and guide you in exploring voluntary opportunities with our Volunteering, Education and Vocational team.
Our strong links with the Canterbury and Herne Bay Volunteer Centre; the NHS’s Creating Bridges and Mindful Employers Project as well as other Vocational Service Providers means we are well placed to support people through these important first steps into paid employment.
